I had a BlackBerry Curve 8520
Now I'm thinking of buying a Bold 9900 from Alibaba as a second phone just for calls, emails, and messages, and if it works on WhatsApp, it'll be great.
Would you recommend me or can I use this phone now in 2023 in Sweden?
What are the programs that can be used on the phone?

Been using this phone for around nine years now, usually only for receiving SMS / OTP... nothing else...
The only thing i despise about this phone is the freaking BATTERY DRAIN! even just for standby it can only last around 3 days before the device moaning to be plugged in again... FFS!
Even my Nokia E72 can last around two or three weeks for the same usage.

It's still good for security purposes and file of personal belongings of information. You can still use pre paid. It's very hard to unlock 🔑 if they steal it, or taking it from you. They got just ten trys to unlock it. If not it's all lost to everyone and you dude. "The government's don't want this Blackberry system 9900 bold in civil hands because of the highest priority security software system." It's very hard to Crack open, "ten trys to open this phone then all information is lost." ITS THE BEST SECURITY SOFTWARE SYSTEM IN THE WORLD. Please, ask James Bond 007, why?

I could use mine for the last time in 2018. Today I turned it on and still functions (with a broken glass and dead battery) ! Regrettably the GSM company doesn't support it any more...

I can't believe I have to give up my BB! Why because they sold the technology to industry?
President Obama used a BB during his Presidency. My BB is about 15 years old, it's a BB Curve and I love it. It's so unfair to take my phone away from me. But the January date was extended to July 1, 2022. I will go until the death with my Curve. BTW I hate iPhones!!!!!!
But I guess I'll have to learn it. BOOO! Thanks for listening. My Ride or Die BB!

I think if you wanted Youtube on your phone, the Blackberry wasn't your best choice.
