Ayaneo has unveiled its latest Windows gaming handheld, the Next 2, with a large 115Wh battery and an OLED display.
The handheld is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chipset that is claimed to deliver a TDP of up to 85W. For cooling, the Next 2 has dual fans with exhaust ports at the back.
It gets a 9.06-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, 2400 x 1504-pixel resolution, and 1,100 nits peak brightness. The handheld comes with hall effect joysticks and hall linear triggers along with dual touchpads. There’s also an 8-way D-pad and dual rear customizable buttons.
The Ayaneo Next 2 packs in a large 115Wh battery, which is the largest in a gaming handheld.
Other features of Ayaneo’s upcoming gaming handheld include a new magnetic-levitation haptic motor, upgraded front-firing stereo speakers, dual-stage trigger lock system, and an illuminated RGB badge.
The Next 2 also comes with the company’s custom handheld software called AyaSpace, which runs on top of Windows.
We don’t have the pricing, availability, or the full spec sheet for the Ayaneo Next 2 yet, but the company is expected to reveal all the details soon. It will be sold in Black and White color options.
