Great compact phone. However, Should have at least 3 year software support

You know what, just stick with this phone and don't even bother with the Zenfone 10 (due to be released later this year), as the Zenfone 10 is WAY TOO BIG for its purposes. If the rumors are true and the Zenfone 10 really is going to be as big as everyone is touting it to be, then that's the end of the line of the Zenfone series altogether.

Excelent phone, have it since the launch and I enjoy the small form factor and the top performance. Excelent job Asus, keep it up!

Because Android Auto works for me with no problems 🤔. And if the problems presist u should go get a replacement :)

Usually restart the phone 2-3 times per day to keep it working properly.

can u tel me which version of zenfone do u have? 16/256 8/128 or 8/256?
i have had mine since September and updating everytime a new version pops up and did not have a problem what so ever. Maybe u have a defective unit.
what did u try so far? did u try to do a complete reset?
if even that did not help then u should send it back to get a replacement, u certainly still have a guaranty :)

Had this phone for about a year, garbage, before android 13 was ok, but after upgrade got laggy, lots of reception issue, data issues, constant android auto issues.
Touch freaks out, black screen so I have to force reboot.
2nd asus, last asus!
Love their laptop and motherboard, but phones are garbage.
Going back to oneplus!

I can confirm that battery life is exceptional - almost 2 days of usage. A weeke ago I was having my maps and location on like for 5 hours straight and battery after duch trip was around 50%...

If that is 100%, then so be it.

Just bought it and my first impression of the screen brightness is terrible. It's way too dark compared to my old Sony XZ1 compact. At 30% brightness Sony is brighter than Zenfone 9 at 70%. Any suggestions or advice? I'm really disappointed with Zenphone 9 screen brightness.
