I just bought one. Best compact phone ever. But my joy was short lived as my Australian telco sent an SMS stating it will be TAC blocked at the end of 2024 😭

My compact 16/256GB Zenfone 8 is the best phone I've ever had. It gets Android 16 updates via LineageOS. Only problem is the huge telco bungle in Australia has mobile providers blocking many device models causing an e-waste mountain. Unfortunate...
