Asus' latest high-end gaming phones, the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro, were launched back in July of last year, and now they're finally being blessed with the update to Android 13.
This comes after Asus' non-gaming Zenfone 9, Zenfone 8, and Zenfone 8 Flip all received the same update already, in line with what the company promised last November when it unveiled its update schedule. The Zenfone 9 was first to taste Android 13 in December, its predecessors followed in mid-January, and February is ROG month, it seems.
The new build, which brings with it Android 13, is labeled 33.0610.2810.72 for both the ROG Phone 6 and the ROG Phone 6 Pro. It may take a few days for it to reach all the devices out there in the wild. In the meantime, if you're impatient, you can manually check for the new software by going to Settings > System > System updates.
Note that if you ever want to go back to Android 12 you'll need to erase all your data, so it's best to back up before upgrading to Android 13, just in case.
As i have read, they just didn't get tested for dust protection. So it means that they may or may not have dust protection.
Those phones are looking very nice and beautiful, and I'm happy that they are updating to Android 13, however I have a question for Asus Rog phone 6 and 6 pro. Why do they have less waterproof and has no dust protection. It will be nice if those...
Are you ignorant or blind? Samsung does nearly perfect when it comes to updates.
