Nixoqu, 11 Feb 2025Is rog 5 still Worth it in 2025? I need y'alls opinions 🙏Well, it's a good phone but please take a note about dead motherboard problem since I'm one of the victim (lucky the phone is still in warranty when it happened).
I only use x-mode when I got this phone the first time for testing purpose (using cooler too). After that I always use ultra durable mode and using cooler to keep the system temp around 36-38C when gaming but the motherboard still died lol.

Nixoqu, 11 Feb 2025Is rog 5 still Worth it in 2025? I need y'alls opinions 🙏Definitely worth! Battery duration is amazing, HyperCharge 65w 20V! And 144hz display with triple 8SD. Phone is pretty heavy and camera performance is meh. Butt i love this phone, never stuck, never.

JADEJA, 15 May 2024after cpu reballing process,phone works fine or you have to faced this type of problem again ?? It still doesn't work at all. Had to buy a new phone again.

Had this phone for about a year, bought from a friend
It was superb,but it just randomly died when I was on a phonecall
Turns out the motherboard died
Wouldnt recommend buying it

Anonymous, 28 Apr 2024Can someone explain to me in detail.everyone writes comments like asus rog 2 is very powerful ... moreI've had both (and only these two), so I can tell you that yes, the ROG 5 is better, so is the sound depth (especially low like bass), but surprisingly the ROG 2 was louder with still some great sound.
When I showed off the ROG 2 speakers, it blew everyone away since it was way ahead of competition. ROG 5 was "just" great speakers.

Didn't use it for almost three years and the battery was on zero after the last time I use it was on 73%.And now doesn't go the fast charging option with a Xiaomi charger 67W.Someone knows what is wrong with it?Could the battery be the problem if I didn't use it for three years almost?

Had ROG Phone 5 since June 2021, SIM card reading issue on the device, power button didn't work, overheating issue in normal use without gaming, never installed any untrusted or third-party apps before, never had water ingress before, doubt the hardware quality

Can someone explain to me in detail.everyone writes comments like asus rog 2 is very powerful and unpassable for sound.I have rog 5 and this device has symmetrical speakers and 7 magnets, so it is superior to rog 2 in every way.how can the lufs value be higher than rog 2?

So I have this phone sincer 2021 august, since then I am using it as my dayle driver. Never had an issue with it. I see 90% of users here had a really bad experience with this device. Don't know what to say.. am I just that lucky?! 2.5 years and still rockin this beast.

my sim card slot started to face issue reading my sim card shortly after a year. The service centre commented that it is likely caused by the motherboard; and I need to pay 80% of the phone price in order to replace the motherboard. I gave up and bought myself a new iphone instead.

Ive been using the phone for 2 years...not only i face lag issue...now.my audio jack doesnt detect the earphone. my rog 4 experience was even worst when the motherboard fried and the dealer technician concluded that it happened due to playing games without the cooler. well tbh this phone is not worth buying unless.u expect your phone to only function for a year. 🤣
