I bought it in All IT Hyper Market in Lowyat plaza in KL just 2 weeks ago and totally satisfied.
It has GPS and BT.
No point to complain and mush more faster than HD 7

i just bought an asus memo pad 8 and it does have GPS... and even a screencapture shortcut when you click on the recent apps icon and hold.So...case closed lol

The 1.6 GHz Cortex A9 RK3188 (with quad MALI-400 MP GPU integrated) is a far better performer than the MTK8125 in Asus MeMO Pad HD7! (Both RK3188 and MTK8125 are all designed and manufactured by chinese manufacturers)

I'm suspecting this is another MediaTek chipset and most probably doesn't have USB on the GO function as well. Look at how asus promise to have USB OTG but didnt happen on Memopad HD7!
Is ASUS is going to trick us again with this MemoPAD 8???

I bought the ASUS memo pad 8 in late Oct 2013 in Singapore Harvey Norman.
To my horror, the machine refused to turn on after one week of normal light use (less than 2 hours per day).
It went totally dead. Second horror, their Service centre did not call me after one week.
When I called their hotline, I was told that they are only the call centre and do not know the status of my repair.
They promised to call me back but failed to do so even after 2 days of calling.
I seriously regretted buying this table, should have bought another brand altogether.
Quality and Customer service issues compounded and very very bad.
Please DO NOT buy any ASUS products and commit the same mistake as me !!
