ASUS Android

ASUS has launched the ZenFone 4 Selfie series of smartphones in India. This consists of the ZenFone 4 Selfie, the ZenFone 4 Selfie dual camera and the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro.

ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie

The ZenFone 4 Selfie is the most affordable of the bunch. It has a single 13 megapixel f2.0 front facing camera with an LED flash and whole host of ASUS SelfieMaster features for beautification. Below the camera is a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display. On the back is a 13 megapixel f2.2 camera with PDAF. Powering the whole thing is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and 3000mAh battery. The ZenFone 4 Selfie is priced at INR 9,999 ($155).

ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie (dual camera version)

The ZenFone 4 Selfie dual camera version is pretty much what it sounds like, except the dual cameras are on the front and not the back. You get one 20 megapixel f2.0 camera paired with an 8 megapixel f2.4 ultra-wide angle secondary camera. On the back is a 16 megapixel f2.2 camera with PDAF. The dual camera version also has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The rest of the specifications and design are identical to the single camera version. The ZenFone 4 Selfie dual camera is priced at INR 14,999 ($233). It will be available for INR 13,999 ($217) from September 21 to 24 during Flipkart's Big Billion Days sale.

ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro

The ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro is the flagship among the series. It has a 12 megapixel DuoPixel front camera that ASUS wrongly likes to double up and call 24 megapixel in its marketing material. The main camera can also do 4K selfie video, which is quite impressive. The secondary camera is 5 megapixel f2.2 ultra-wide angle. On the back is a 16 megapixel f2.2 camera with PDAF and 4K video. The ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro has a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and 3000mAh battery with fast charging. The ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro is priced at INR 23,999 ($373).

All phones will be available exclusively on Flipkart. ASUS is offering additional free data offers for Reliance Jio subscribers.
