Asus Zenfone Live L1 Android Go phone debuts

Today Asus announced a new entry-level smartphone - the ZenFone Live L1. It is the first Android Go-powered smartphone by the company and Indonesia is going to be its debut market.

The device sports a 5.5-inch HD+ display (1440x720) with 18:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC paired with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot.

There's a 13MP PDAF main camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper that's also used for face unlock. The smartphone features a impressive for its size 3,300 mAh battery unit.

As we already mentioned, the smartphone is powered by the lightweight Android Oreo Go Edition. It comes with 4G VoLTE support as well as Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/A-GPS and FM radio. The Zenfone Live L1 will be available in three different colors - Rose Pink, Midnight Black and White.

Availability and pricing are yet to be detailed.

If you want a phone that will either last you less than 24 hours or only one hour this is the phone for you. Internet freezes and phone will either shut down and never turn on again or shut down intermittently. The people at Asus should be ashamed ...

Why would one bother with a Chinese brand that hasn't been proven to be super reliable to be considered having?? Yeah sure, SnapDragon 820/821 chipset. What else?? For that cheap, there has to be something cut in cost, considering the chipset itsel...
