The Apple Watch Ultra is Cupertino’s biggest (49mm casing) and heaviest (61.3 grams) smartwatch to date towering over its Apple Watch brethren and most competitors. While we don’t get specific values, the tipster suggests that the lighter casing will be a key feature on the upcoming Watch Ultra.
Apple Watch Ultra is 14.4mm thick and weighs 61.3 grams
A recent report suggests Apple will use 3D printed parts for its upcoming Watch Ultra which could help with the weight reduction bit. Apple Watch Ultra is expected to debut in the second half of the year alongside the Watch Series 9 and iPhone 15 series. Apple is also rumored to bring a 2.1-inch micro-LED display on its Apple Watch Ultra in 2024 which will allow for higher brightness output compared to the current Watch Ultra and its OLED display.
