Apple released its watchOS 7.2 alongside iOS 14.3 and the big new addition for watch users is cardio fitness measurement which classifies your cardio fitness level based on your age group and sex. There are four fitness level categories from low to high. You will receive notifications if your measurements fall in the low range.

The whole classification happens via the V02 max readings on the Apple Watch and comes just in time for the launch of Apple’s Fitness+ subscription service. Interestingly enough accessing Fitness+ requires an Apple Watch though there are reports that you can still take part in workouts straight from your iPhone or iPad without the need for a watch.
Fitness+ offers personalized workouts in over 10 fields ranging from yoga to strength training for a monthly fee of $9.99 or a yearly subscription of $79.99 in the US. Users can share their Fitness+ subscription with up to 6 family members.
Current Apple Watch Series 3 or later users get a month of free Fitness+ while new buyers get 3 free months. The service works on iPhone 6s or later with iOS 14.3, iPads with iPadOS 14.3 and Apple TV with tvOS 14.3.
It is very hard to ECG approval from regulators. Small Android makers will not go through that expensive process.
