Apple iOS Firmware Updates

Today Apple will seed the final iOS 12.1 firmware to supported iPhone and iPad models. The firmware enables the dual-SIM support of the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR, brings Group FaceTime calls with support for up to 32 people at once and adds some 70 new emoji characters.

It also fixes the charging woes of some devices and brings an end to the soft selfies that were coming out of new iPhone XS, XS Max and XR units.

Finally iOS 12.1 adds depth control for portrait mode shots while in the camera viewfinder (not only in the Photos app).

Supported devices should start getting the iOS 12.1 update in a few hours.

Why not mention the big news, that Xs, Xs Max and Xr now support DUAL SIM through the use of eSim in iOS 12.1?
