HTC may have halted the rollout of Nougat for the 10, its flagship smartphone of 2016, because of bugs but the company hasn't stopped working on getting the new OS version to its other devices. Case in point: the One A9.
Mo Versi, HTC's VP of Product Management, announced on Twitter today that the rollout of Nougat for the unlocked version of the A9 sold in the US will be out starting tonight. So that's some good news for owners of the One A9, despite HTC constantly breaking its hilarious promise to update this handset to new Android versions "within 15 days of Nexus devices".
While the company has been nowhere near that time frame with A9 updates, the phone has at least not been forgotten and is still getting new Android iterations, this time around right after the HTC 10.
it looks like HTC foxing on the US market only. They forgot the rest of world. be careful HTC you almost lose the customers out of US.
