Xiaomi keeps bringing Android 10 and MIUI 11 to its smartphone lineup and the Mi 9 Lite is the next in line. The official stable ROM is available to all global units, meaning the Chinese ones are out of the equation.

The new update has the model number V11.0.1.0.QFCMIXM and is rolling out to select users already. If there aren’t any major bugs reported, Xiaomi will continue with the expansion to all Mi 9 Lite units. Aside from a stable user interface, based on latest Android OS, the package also brings the February 2020 security patch.

If you haven’t received a notification and you don’t see the update in the About Phone page, you can download the package from the source link below. There are also some steps to follow, but they are pretty basic - paste the package in the required folder, launch the Updater app and the phone will take it from there.

Don't rush to do it. I just updated today and it gave me a continuous error "System launcher keeps stopping" without the possibility to log to the apps/menu/settings.
