AMD unveiled its big RDNA2 cards last year, the Radeon RX 6900 XT ($1,000), RX 6800 XT ($650) and the RX 6800 ($580). Now the company is preparing to launch yet more RX 6000-series GPUs. This will happen on March 3 at the “Where Gaming Begins: Episode 3” event (Ep. 1 brought the desktop Ryzen 5000 CPUs, Ep. 2 was the RX 6800 launch).
AMD posted this image of the GPU in question. It has two fans instead of three like the higher-end cards. but still appears fairly beefy. This suggests that we’re looking at the Radeon RX 6700. We’ll likely see a vanilla and an XT card again, based on the Navi 22 chips. They will be positioned against Nvidia’s mid-range offerings.
On March 3rd, the journey continues for #RDNA2. Join us at 11AM US Eastern as we reveal the latest addition to the @AMD Radeon RX 6000 graphics family. https://t.co/5CFvT9D2SR pic.twitter.com/tUpUwRfpgk

The GeForce RTX 3060 ($330) is set to become available later today, though considering the supply issues that have gripped the tech world getting one might be a challenge. This is also the case for the RTX 3060 Ti ($400), which seems to be sold out in most places (and is listed at well above MSRP).
The Where Gaming Begins: Ep. 3 event will start at 16:00 UTC on March 3 and will likely be a pre-record presentation like the previous episodes.
Where's the logic? A desktop GPU/VGA will have like at least 5 times the TDP (power consumption), be bigger in size as well. Phones only have max. 5-6W TDP overall (CPU/GPU) but few chipsets (SD888/Exynos 2100) do have 10W TDP. Phones have to be...
Don't forget Intel invents Thunderbolt USB-C for fast data transfer. AMD does not have this but the Threadripper.
