The divice bad product. The charger cable build from bad material.The cable wire of the charger build from almunium wire, not copper wire. very very bad cable charger.

I HAVE NOW purchased or BEEN given a total of THREE of THESE identical Acer TABLETS and HAVE concluded THAT, I SHOULD HAVE just bought a FULL priced, kindle, or IPad AS, this tablet SUCKS! IT NEEDS to be plugged in and charged/charging ALL THE TIME or shuts OFF at 60% battery or LESS. My screen ALSO freezes constantly and turns the screenshot GREEN and won't work AFTER giving my screen a permanently GREEN hue and hardly loads ANYTHING IF IT decides to load the page's at ALL. My money WAS completely wasted and I'm I. He processes of TRYing to get a refund. ALSO, THE "Wish" shopping application sent ME THIS Acer after advertising the 433 ANDROID NEWEST Google's 4g Tablet, i selected specifically, but got THIS piece of CRAP unknowing i WOULD receive THIS TABLET! Unfortunately my excitement took over AND I prematurely ordered TWO on THE "WISH" SHOPPING APP. AND THIS is WHAT they sent. Grossly disappointing parcels!

Have I just bought a pile of crap here, or not? I only got this to play clash of clans which i have downloaded but it seems to get to the half way point of loading then goes back to the home screen.
Do I need to upgrade the firmware version 2, or androids 4.4.2 to something higher? If so how?
Could it be that there's only 512 Gig of RAM?
Any help would be appreciated.

no.. it isnt.. I think there is no way acer dropping its price for a701 in indonesia.. the shop just tight up their discount so that they can sold it faster and restock their warehouse...

Bought this device recently. It's really great, works well, just what we are wanted. We are really happy with it.
The only setback is the charger is not your standard.

It has no LED flash light.
Other specs are good, using it for 3 weeks, very satisfied.

As announced directly from Adobe, Android will no longer support Flash Player to the latest version of the OS.
Is not officially supported, but that does not mean that Flash Player can not be installed on our device with Android Jelly Bean 4.1.
After you install flash player just go to the built in browser, select settings, advanced and there make sure "Enable plug-ins" is set to "Always on"

Since abode STOP support abode flash player for all Android, so how come A701 have "flash player"? You must be kidding...

Worst tablet design of all time. Firstly there is no full size USB port and you need an adapter to plug in your regular USB drive. As such you are not able to access your data in your USB drive when you are charging the tablet. To make thing worse is that to charge the tablet you need ACER proprietor micro usb charger which means you can't charge the tablet using the conventional micro usb plug. Suggest to wait for the next Iconia or other tablet which offer better design. And yes there is NO flash for the camera.

No they don't HV led flash. I'm using ACER ICONIA TAB A701 at the moment.
